Elwood Foreshore Working Bee

Earthcare and Friends of Elster Creek members have been working with City of Port Phillip to improve the habitat along the Foreshore for the Superb Fairy Wrens and similar, small, native insectivorous birds. The area is set, over time
to become a little nature reserve.
Please join this working bee to prepare the area for this year’s planting. The plants will be planted in June and have been chosen with these birds’ particular needs in mind.
We will meet at 10:30 at the reserve side of the Glen Huntly Road pedestrian crossing across Ormond Esplanade.
We will be working out of sight in the reserve, so if you can’t find us then call Jo on 0423 053 494.
Please bring tough gardening style gloves to protect your hands.
